The entire eight event season had been geared towards the winner take all final race between the top three boats - One race, one prize, $1 Million. But to get there meant five fleet races over two days. Going into the event and following the penultimate event in Sydney, the top three teams appeared to have secured their place in the dash for cash, but the Mubadala United States Sail Grand Prix had plenty more challenges in store.
