Rutland Water 'Try a Trailer Sailer' Weekend
Drone footage of the 'Try a Trailer Sailer' weekend at Rutland Water on the 16th and 17th July 2022 On the 16th & 17th July 2022 we descended on Rutland Sailing Club. Set on the Southern shore of Rutland Water, an 11km2 reservoir and wildlife conservation area. With several slipways, pontoons and great facilities, Rutland SC were ideal hosts for our 'Try a Trailer Sailer' weekend. We gathered 6 boats to try out.... A Jeanneau Sun 2000 A Cape Cutter 19 A BTC-22 An Astus 20.5 Trimaran A Viko S21 (and a Sailfish 19). Winds were light but we still managed 26 demo sails with more than 60 participants Thank you to all Rutland SC members and staff who supported us. Especially Jonathan Bunce who sailed tirelessly!
