Returning to CEREDIGION with a KAYAK!

Welcome back. This week, we head back to (almost!) the same location we were in last time, but with one thing we didn't have last time...a kayak! However, remember last time when the sea was calm, and turquoise and it was boiling hot? Just like the Caribbean? Today, it was significantly colder/choppier/windier. Alas, that did not stop us pumping the boat up and heading it (of course wearing buoyancy aids and staying close to shore- safety first). Despite the waves, which made for hilarious kayaking, and a slightly more strenuous paddle, we found the waterfall and wow, was it worth it. Me and Zach geeked out at mixed ecosystems and soaked in this natural phenomena. Later, we headed 20 mins south to Cenarth Falls on the River Teifi. With locals once using Coracles (small wooden boats) to fish in, we decided to abandon all craft and take a dip- au natural- (bathing suits included). As the sun set, we swum around our 'very own natural waterpark' and honestly, in that moment, i wouldn't have wished to be anywhere else.
