The rigger fixed the VHF connection at the top of the mast, the broken furler, and swapped out the hydraulic backstay adjuster in San Diego. Now it is time to get the boat back home. We stop by the fuel dock at harbor island and take on some diesel and then sail 83.5 nautical miles single handed to the Hen Rock anchorage at Catalina Island. The passage is fairly pleasant and without much drama beyond shipping traffic.
