Repair Port-Light Leaks: Cabin Top Core #40

Most cabin tops have a plywood or foam core. Today I the repair port-light leaks in a way that prevents water from port-light leaks from being able to enter the plywood core. Hopefully this is a permanent repair to a very common sailboat problem. Removing the plywood surrounding the port-light and replacing it with a solid fiberglass core, so all hardware will be going through the fiberglass instead of the plywood as it originally did, I'm no longer relying on the bedding around the port-light to prevent water intrusion.
