REMOTE SAILING COUPLE Live On River Helford: OFF-GRID Cruising UK I Ep. 59 In this sailing video, you will find us anchored off in the breath-taking and enchanting Helford River. Tucked away on the south coast of the UK, this is a remote sailing hotspot for cruisers to enjoy some peace and tranquillity. As a novice sailing couple we decided to move our floating home up river to this safe and secluded anchorage for a week to check out the sights and sounds of this famous Cornish gem. We also picked up a mooring ball as we were in for some heavy weather during our week up the river! This was a first for us, so watch to see how we faired, picking up mooring buoy for the first time. Working remotely and living aboard our Gibsea 372’ sailboat, allows us to cruise around the UK and very soon the world and pick where we want to live.
