Reef Rookies & Windlass Woes | Sailing with Six | Ep 14

After months of not surfing we get out to the reef break at Dumbea Pass in New Caledonia. It’s our first time dropping the anchor on a reef pass and the windlass stops working! Ahhh not cool!! We manage to rectify the issue and jump off the yacht for a surf but then loose the go pro… Even with these challenges we have such a great time and will never forget our first time surfing over such a beautiful reef with grommie size waves and stunning conditions.
