Quick Trip to Athens // Sailing Coco Ep28

Sailing Coco Once through the Corinth Canal we head off to find a nice little anchorage just around the corner of the canal mouth! We spend the night chilling out at anchor and Alf heads to shore to find some well deserved Greek food, which didn’t disappoint. We wake up in the morning to another beautiful anchorage, have some brekkie which was left over Greek food and set off. Taking a gentle sail down to Athens, we find ourselves tied up to a ferry dock as there were no anchorages and no berths available at any of the marinas. Luckily the dock security guard said we could stay for one night. So, with no hesitation we head off to TGI FRIDAYS and enjoy a well deserved drink and an evening on land with some nice food, something we haven’t done for over a week! The next morning we manage to squeeze into a marina and spend the next few days editing videos.... in a hotel. The WiFi in the marina was non existent and the heat in the boat was unbearable. So we treated ourselves to an Aircon’ed hotel room. A few days later we have new crew... Alf’s mum Adele, and his cousin Alyssa. We spend a few days exploring Athens and take them on a little sail around the Greek coast. Follow our adventures sailing the Mediterranean Sea, living on our sailboat!
