Problems Bringing Aid to Fiji | A bad experience with Fiji Airways |

We fly back to Fiji! After over 24 hours of travel and the worst experience with an airline I’ve ever had we are back on Family Circus in Fiji. We lose ‘Nono” in LAX, have major drama with Fiji Airlines and I almost get denied boarding. Air travel always seems so much more hectic than sailing. Or maybe I’m just misremembering what sailing is like… Sorry for the late upload, my laptop charger died almost the instant we landed in Fiji and there were no replacements in the country! Luckily we were able to get a new one sent from Canada that arrived only a few days ago. I’m looking forward to sharing more awesome footage now we’re back on the water in Fiji. We’re excited for more adventures and to host two new crew joining us next week from Germany. The core of "Family Circus" is Chris (Dad / Captain), Sayo (Mom / Admiral), Aya (First Officer / Deckhand) and Miya (Baby / Stainless Polisher). After many years in business in Vancouver we were tired of life inside the box and wanted to make a change, we just weren't exactly sure what would be next. In July of 2016, when Sayo was six months pregnant, we decided (somewhat at the last minute) to fly to New Caledonia for one last holiday before the baby was born. On this trip we decided to buy "Family Circus", planned to sail her to New Zealand and started an adventure that has changed our lives.
