Today we unstep the mast to replace Talia’s original standing rigging. In an attempt to ward off the disapproval of the sea gods we perform the traditional ceremony to rename our floating home to TALIA. Then we leave the comfort and protection of Talia’s home berth at Real Club Nautic de Valencia, play chicken with cargo ships in the Mediterranean’s second busiest shipping lane and arrive at our first stop - La Marina de Valencia.
