Pine sap stains completely removed with OxyClean

These had all been through the wash, with big glops of pine sap remaining. What I did: 1) Put 2.5 gallons of hot tap water in a 5 gallon bucket. 2) Put 2.5 scoops of OxyClean in bucket, stir. 3) Put clothes in bucket. 4) Soak for 6 hours (I occasionally stirred). 5) Start washing machine, set to "hot", and "small load" 6) Add OxyClean, scoop filled to line 3, and regular detergent. 7) Wait till machine fills with water. 8) Add clothes.
