In this episode we finally remove all the antifoul from Aquarius' hull. We couldn't however have done it without help from our friends at the Down Cruising Club. We've uncovered so many more blisters & patcheds of osmosis but fell up to the task of getting it fixed. We managed to get some moisture metre readings from the hull too so now we have baseline reading to work from. Thanks for watching this video guys. What we find under the antifoul has us worried and could be a major set back. Sailing can be amazing when you have the right conditions. Unfortunately When ithe wind is too light or too strong, blowing from the wrong direction, pouring with rain or the tides are against you, it can be a testing journey.

Due to a technical problem on the boat we stayed there longer than expected. We then travel further south to Campbeltown to rest before crossing the north channel making our way back home. In this episode we enter the Crinan Canal to take a short cut through to lough Fyne. In the video we mention the Canal is 6miles long, but it is actually 9 miles long. The transit starts off very pleasant but when the weather changes and we get stuck in the locks with other people that lose control of there boat, the trip turns into a bit of a nightmare. In this episode, strong southerly winds leave us unable to leave Gigha. So we set out to do some exploring on bikes. Unable to sleep on the boat due to the violent movements with wind and waves, we abandon the boat to sleep in out tent for 2 nights.
