We start the day by catching live bait in order to catch species like snook and mangrove snapper. As the day progresses we decide to move on top of the grass flats in pursuit of bonefish and permit. With excitement we hook up on a fish of a lifetime, a Florida Keys Permit. People spend thousands of dollars in pursuit of the elusive permit on the flats of Islamorada. Full of excitement and joy we eventually head home away from the beautiful sunset in the Florida Keys. Once we arrive to the dock we clean or catch and head upstairs to cook up a delicious ceviche dish and reflect on the day.
