This video highlights the paint facility at Berthon in Lymington where ALISARA had here topside painted ahead of joining the gantries for sale with Berthon International Yacht Brokerage. ALISARA was commissioned by a most experienced yachtsman, for long distance sailing at pace, she is very much a product of Lymington, having been designed by Rob Humphreys and built by Seyco Marine (Steve Etheridge). She has a rotating mast from Formula Spars, high-tech construction, a simple and well-designed interior, water ballast, a lifting keel and she can also dry out. She can be sailed short-handed and her solid spray dodger is quite simply epic. One wonders why they’re not seen on other yachts. After her last season with her current owner, she arrived at Berthon for a pit-stop. This included a repaint in very smart flag blue and an overhaul of her keel.
