ODYSSEY #51 - Dominican Republic : The santo domingo paradigm

For 15 days, the Race for Water vessel remained dockside in the military port of Sans-Souci with a team working hard among the young generations, the general public and the institutions to raise awareness about the battle against plastic pollution. Amidst the enthusiasm encountered by our odyssey and the reality on the ground, the crew realize the vast amount of work still left to do to manage the plastic waste, as demonstrated in this video… The Race for Water Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the water and the oceans in particular. Today, seriously under threat from plastic pollution, it is imperative that this essential resource for life is protected.To prevent plastic waste from reaching the waterways and oceans by developing social models and business models that give value to plastic waste and hence encourage its collection.
