ODYSSEY #108 - HONG KONG : Dirty Harry

In Hong Kong, the well-known Harry Chan led the Foundation’s teams to a real underwater dump located in a bay on Lamma island. This sixty-year old retired man is fighting body and soul to preserve the oceans, especially from the ghost nets and plastic waste that are accumulating on the seabed. The Race for Water Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the water and the oceans in particular. Today, seriously under threat from plastic pollution, it is imperative that this essential resource for life is protected.To prevent plastic waste from reaching the waterways and oceans by developing social models and business models that give value to plastic waste and hence encourage its collection.
