@the_reeva_project With SV Reeva all set after our haul-out at PSS Satun, we set sail for Phuket to pick up our incredible crew member, Payal! But the passage from Koh Tarutao to Phuket turned out to be a real challenge—no wind and we chose not to motor! It was slow, frustrating at times, but a great test of patience and skill—exactly the kind of experience we need as we prepare for our big ocean crossing to India! Once in Phuket, it was time to provision for our sail to Port Blair, Andaman Islands—stocking up on supplies, filling our water tanks, and of course, catching up with Payal, who came bearing amazing snacks from home! A little about Payal—she’s an absolute legend in the sailing world! She was part of INSV Tarini’s all-women circumnavigation in 2015 and sailed with Maiden in the 2023 Ocean Globe Race.
