We've got three booth visits for you, and exciting ones at that: Sea Frost refrigeration, Mantus Marine's anchor swivel and chain hook, and a nifty tool demo at the beginning. After building the refrigerator and having it so close to finished, we're glad to finally release this bit of video that didn't quite fit into any previous episode. It goes into detail with Nathan of Sea Frost, who walks us through the kind of options they offer through this New England company. We've been grateful for their support, and we don't even have the system yet! Jason, a rigger who, for a long time now, has worked with Mantus during boat shows, walks us through some auxiliary anchor gear that we'll be wanting with the M2 anchor we're hoping to get. Have a look at our wishlist for a little more information about that: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority And we kick off the video with a neat thing we saw in passing. ClampTite is a small company that produces a very simple tool for creating hose clamps with any type of wire. Even if we go with traditional hose clamps for most things, it'd be handy to have a bit of wire and one of these around, just in case. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella is a boat building project taking place in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve and Alix started as amateur boat builders building a 38' wooden boat in Steve's backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and beyond—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project will continue well past launch, when they will travel and learn to cruise aboard the boat that they've built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority TotalBoat Referral: Need something TotalBoat sells?
