lewmar hatch leak - can masking tape do the trick ?

Sejlbåde
A new gasket is mounted on the low profile hatch but someting is wrong because the hatch is leaking a lot. This time I use a alternative way to fix my problem and also test the tensile strength of the rubber glue from loctite
