The first night was spent anchored at the historic Mansion House Bay, Kawau Island, before sailing on to Hurihi Bay for night two. As strong winds built overnight, the crew had to move in the middle of the night to the sheltered Te Wharau Bay — an unexpected challenge that added a real sense of adventure to the trip. On the homeward leg, the crew made a final stop at Motuihe, enjoying the island’s stunning coastline before returning to shore. From start to finish, this voyage was packed with learning, teamwork, and incredible moments on the water.
