After a three day sail from Bora Bora we pulled into Aitutaki with plans to stay a month. Unfortunately for us, a new law had been passed that disallowed the use of tenders by any yacht inside the lagoon making our experience there rather short due to the cost of having to hire a tour operator every day. We did however get out to the kite island for a day and oh man, did we ever have fun! This place really is magic.
