SV Sweet Ruca, a J Boats J/46, is finally in the water and ready to sail for the first time since we purchased her. She launches in Jamestown, Rhode Island, across from sailing mecca, Newport. We take her cruising around Narragansett Bay before heading out onto the Atlantic Ocean. We find ourselves surrounded by weekday dinghy races and the beautiful hills and cliffs of Rhode Island.
