Jazz Turner | Project FEAR | Post-voyage interview on BBC Radio 4
One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, featured in "Woman's Hour" on BBC Radio 4 at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz describes how she is now making plans to take part in the WorldStar 2026 Round the World race, which will start from the Royal Western Yacht Club in Plymouth on 26/09/2026, and how she needs help in acquiring a suitable vessel to achieve this incredible challenge. Jazz has been raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailability fund.
