J/125 Callisto Refit From Start to Finish
The vision was simple - find a J/125 and optimize it for distance races. The execution took a lot of hard work and expertise. Callisto Racing's Project Manager, Nick Chadwick, oversaw the refit at Larsen Marine in Waukegan, Illinois, which included entirely new deck hardware from Harken. Nick explains the reasoning behind new design features and weight savers on board the new Callisto. End goal: enjoy the sailing and advance the learnings.
