Issues with an A-Frame mainsheet system

You either love it or you hate it. You've seen our previous video shot from a Gunboat 68 where we show you how their main sheet and traveller system operates. In this video we welcome you back to Paikea. We want to show you our main sheet system. It's very different. Ours is a A frame maiinsheet system. We do not have a traveller. It uses 2 sheets attached to the boom winches on at the port and starboard. It is a popular system used on many older style French catamarans. This sytem is definitely not as accurate for sail trim and involves a lot of guess work. We also think it can be quite dangerous!
