Installing a GPS / AIS / VHF combo antenna on the stern pulpit of a sailboat

On this episode I show you guys how I went about installing my Digital Yacht GPS / AIS / VHF combo antenna for my Digital Yacht iAis receiver. I wanted to install it on the stern rail and to run the cables down the tube of the stern pulpit and into the aft lazarette. Hoping to avoid removing the entire stern pulpit I decided to try and drill through the backing plate and into the tube itself. My plan worked and I was able to complete the job easily with the help of my friend Christian of Sailing Vessel Antares.
