Inside the ONE HUNDRED PLUS: Gunboat's Biggest Catamarans Yet

Gunboat is crossing 100 feet. Benoit Lebizay explains why, what the yard refused to give up along the way, and what the ONE HUNDRED PLUS range will be. Everything that makes a Gunboat. Bigger. Going above 100 feet in the multihull world has usually meant a compromise, either on design or on the way a boat actually sails. The ONE HUNDRED PLUS range exists because we were never willing to accept that trade. In this conversation, Benoit Lebizay walks through the thinking behind the range and behind the Gunboat 120 Concept, the buildable full custom yacht that shows one of the directions the yard can take at this scale. Every yacht in the range will be a one-off, never a catalogue. Each one will be designed around a single owner's programme, whether that means far flung expeditions, Pacific cruising or a family season in the Mediterranean.
