Hurricane Dorian coming at us - Blue Dot Voyages PILAR - EP31

Our plans to stay in Southport NC through the end of September were cut short by Hurricane Dorian. So, with time only for minimal preparations, we left Southport and traveled south - yes south to return to our home port at Bohicket Marina. Why? It was a better hurricane hole - better protection. So, after a long 28 hour overnight sail, we immediately started to prepare PILAR to withstand Dorian's 150 mph winds in case the eye would decide to come our way. See what we did in this video.
