How we beat the Schengen Shuffle - Update 2024 - Sailing Helios #schengen

2023 was our first year sailing in the Mediterranean and like all non-EU sailors, navigating the Schengen requirements was daunting. We were delighted when an agent in Italy introduced us to the process where we could "check out" of the EU but still sail as crew on our vessel.
