This is just one example of the many different ways a dinghy/ tender can be tied up to a wall, or near a boat ramp without being in every boats way. Great for tying up a small boat in a tidal area. In addition to a painter (bow dockline) a small anchor can be a wonderful versatile too to avoid damage from walls and barnacles. Please note- don't use this over seagrass, or in the fairway where boats will motor. Use common sense and think about other water users.
