How To Lean A Sailboat On A Wall To Dry Out: DIY Scrub & Anti-foul | Series 2 Episode 7 | Ep 74
In this episode we dry Esperance out on a wall at Torpoint Yacht Haven in Plymouth so we can clean the hull, change the anodes, check the rudder, prop and p-bracket and add a new coat of anti-foul ahead of our channel crossing. We hadn't planned on doing this but everything was aligned, weather, tides, location and we found a couple of pairs of hands to help. Kelly took the kids out of the way and Hugh got to work. It took a lot of planning in a short amount of time but we got there. We saved a fortune doing it this way. We know other boat owners would like to do the same but some are nervous about doing it. In this video we talk you through exactly how we did it. Any questions, just send us a message. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have t he guts to cast off. Follow our adventures.
