How To Fix Sliding Door Latch We Used JB Weld

We had to fix our sliding door latch because it wouldn't lock. The latch had broke in half and we didn't won't to buy a new sliding door latch. So out with the JB Weld. We first removed the sliding door handle and the lock mechanics fell out. we then mix up our JB Weld two part system of liquid metal and harder.
