HOLY SHIP! Cruising 250 nautical miles on board of a leaky boat — Sailing Yabá #5

We are Ben and MP! Recently we decided to purchase a two masted 70ft wooden schooner in Brazil. The fun detail about our story is that the boat we bought is sinking and relying on many bilge pumps to survive and we need to lift it onto the dry ASAP to fix what is needed and start our refit. In this episode we are finally heading south on board of our leaky boat! We navigated approximately 250 nautical miles with water filling our bilge besides some other minor set backs. It was a bumpy ride with some fortunate and some unfortunate events. We got a little scared at moments but now we are happy we have a richer story to tell, because, spoiler alert: at the end things worked out well enough for us to continue telling our story.
