Highlights of our Atlantic Ocean crossing from Mindelo, Cape Verde to Bridgetown, Barbados - 2200nm

We covered a bit more than 2200nm in 15 days in the Amel 50 sailboat. This turns out to be a calm, peaceful, beautiful sail!! Winds were fair most of the time but with a few days around 12-14 knts - good enough to tack downwind, but not enough for the straight downwind blast. We saw many squalls mid-crossing, but were able to steer around them. Nevertheless, we've lost our spinnaker pole in a big one. I'll have that in the next video - managed to get it all on film, so stay tuned :) I've tried to share the day to day life on the boat - fishing, cooking, cleaning, entertainment, tanning, swimming, reading, etc. Please enjoy the video and my big thank you to Sarah Dashew for the beautiful song!
