Grinding the old sealant below the Teak Deck
Today I decided to remove a few of the teak planks that appeared to be rotted. I removed the sealant, the boards and then used an ultrasonic scraper to remove the old sealant/epoxy that had been put down once before when it appears someone worked on the teak in the past. Here is a fast motion video of me removing the old screws (That couldn't be taken out with a screwdriver) and then scraping off the sealant/epoxy below the boards. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "How to repair a wooden mast, boom, spar or Bulkhead (Step by Step) " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Nxr-yxUjvQ -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
