Finally Sailing!!! We Spend a few days at anchor | Living on a Sailboat | Sailing Sunday Ep. 11

Ryan is still sore from hurting his ribs avoiding a collision with a drunk boater, but we made plans with friends to go on our first sail and overnight getaway anyways! We head down to the southern part of Malta to Ras Il-Fniek to a secluded bay! it was gorgeous and quiet with only a few other cruisers the first night! The next day we said goodbye to our friends, sailed up and down the coast to get the feel for the new boat and practice our sailing while potentially looking for a different anchorage for the night. We then decided to go back to our original anchorage as others we found to be too public which made it difficult to let Jackson run around and have some freedom (they don't really allow dogs on the beaches here) we ended up being the only boat the second night which was both amazing and a little scary all at the same time haha! We had an amazing time and enjoyed having our own little paradise...... Now we are back at the yacht club getting our solar panels installed and any last minute jobs we need, in a couple weeks we will be finished here at the yacht club and done with marinas for a while!!
