Final PREPARATIONS FOR THE ATLANTIC CROSSING and Exploring the CANARY ISLANDS - Ep 14

In this episode we pick ourselves up after our little wobble following our 5-day sail from Lisbon, and set off exploring the weird and wonderful Canary Islands. Lanzarote felt like another planet and was windy as hell - we couldn't wait to leave. Tenerife was incredible and the only place we have visited on this adventure where we could actually imagine ourselves living - it's not just the British package-holiday destination it is known to be. It's not all fun and games though, we had a long list of repairs and modifications to do to Bacchus, some of which took us days and others which we had the help of the wonderful Nordest Rigging - who we'd highly recommend to other cruisers needing work in the Canaries, we've put a link at the bottom.
