Powered by a Man D2868 V8 diesel, this aluminum commercial fishing boat built by local shipyard Tideline Welded Aluminum Boats is setting a new bar for commercial fishing vessels. Although the boat was designed primarily for the spot prawn season, due to the shortened season, the boat had to be designed with a level of versatility to make it suitable for other operations including crab, and commercial diving.
