Months spent cut off from the world in Curacao’s hurricane hole and then in Panama’s jungle marina due to COVID-19 – and suddenly thrown back into big city life in Panama City. What a feeling! This is the first time we see the impacts of the Corona pandemic in a metropolis with its protective measures, differently bustling but also empty streets of Casco Viejo, Panama City’s old town.
