[ EP 9 ] Sailing Hell Gate and East River NYC at 2am

In which we transit the infamous Hell Gate to Liberty Marina in NJ in the middle of the night. The entire passage took about 5 hours from Manhasset Bay to the slip at Liberty. We needed to go at 2am because the best time to transit with the current in your favor is to start at Throgs Neck at slack ebb tide (and we didn't want to wait another 12 hours for the next one). We were doing 12 kn at one point. It was exhilarating! Ladybug is a 1976 Bristol 34. I mostly use a Pixel 3 to shoot my videos and I edit in Adobe Premiere.
