Ep.47. What's up with the GENERATOR?

We've spent a lot of time at anchor since the Covid-19 pandemic started in February. Being at anchor means that we get our energy from the generator, in addition to the solar panels. We have been going through impellers at an alarming rate, and Pierre explains the way he thinks he may have fixed the problem, at last. In Bahamas and in Fort Lauderdale we were not able to get spare impeller. In Fort Lauderdale there were none at West marine, and the rest of the more specialized marine stores that would have had them were closed. Without spare impellers, we continued to West Palm Beach to wait for a weather window to go north. Pierre works on the generator once again, and then we leave West Palm to head towards Boston knowing that we can make do, if needed.
