Ep 37. Super Bowl Sunday, Ship Wrecks and Saint Martin. (Sailing Susan Ann II)

Thanks for watching and continuing on our adventure with us. We know it isn't easy with such irregular uploads but your support is very much appreciated. This episode starts on Saint Martin and we end up on Anguilla, so really we visited The Netherlands, France and the UK all in a couple of days. It's really interesting to see the difference in the European colonies and how each country still has an influence after Hurricane Irma. The people on Dutch St Martin especially are among the kindest and friendliest we've met in the Caribbean so far and despite the devastation couldn't be more positive and upbeat. It's only a short sail (but a fast one) to Anguilla and once there, Road Bay offers the most shelter from the trade winds and an interesting ship wreck of an old tanker at the south end of the beach. You can easily drive around the whole island in a day and as usual, us and the Aussies decided to try a beer in every bar.
