Ep 184 Offshore Passage and Liveaboard Prep

0 Visninger· 28/05/26

What does it take to prep for extended passagemaking and the liveaboard lifestyle? A lot of hard work, that’s what! And plenty of time spent sourcing all the parts we either broke or need to upgrade. In this episode we focus on electrical system repairs and upgrades, installation of a new Gen3 Starlink system, and dinghy service. The idea, and one that has worked for many years, is to do every single last task on an extensive list before we even launch. This allows us to mostly relax and enjoy the season without nagging failures to deal with. I mentioned during the episode that viewers could get a discounted price on the fuel/water filter-separator, and you can use the link below to claim that. It’s good for 30 days or so following the upload of this episode.
