E118 - 50 Knots Of Wind At Trouser Point, Flinders Island

We leave Deal Island very early in the morning and head to the protected anchorage of Port Davey on Flinders Island. After a quick walk on the beach and headland checking out the mutton bird nesting site, we head to Lady Baron Island but divert to Trouser Point with concerns over some unusual engine noise. We anchor overnight in a very windy anchorage with winds gusting to 50 knots before heading to the Tamar River.
