After crossing the Bay of Biscay, we sail along the wild Galician coast of Spain - from A Coruña to Muxía, facing headwinds, heavy weather, and the raw Atlantic beauty of Galicia. We finally arrive in Galicia after days at sea, on the wild Atlantic coast of Spain. We spend a few days exploring the beautiful city of A Coruña before continuing our voyage west along the rugged Galician shoreline. Strong headwinds and powerful Atlantic swells challenge us around the northwestern tip of the European continent, where orca encounters have recently been reported in the area. We find shelter in the fishing village of Laxe to wait out a storm, then sail on to Muxía just before the next weather system arrives.
