Days 5 & 6 Aboard FPY 70S Hull #1

Day 5 aboard the FPY 70S brought us into Portimão — and officially to the end of my part of her journey to Cannes. After several days of mixed conditions, Day 5 gave us something similar, and we spent much of the day motoring. Ironically, we ended up crossing paths with a Fountaine Pajot Samana 59 along the way and cruised alongside her for a while — which made for some pretty incredible drone footage. Once we arrived in Portimão, the owners of the 59 very kindly took our crew out for dinner — a great way to wrap up our final night together after five days aboard. I filmed the last part of this reel the following morning — Day 6 — just before disembarking and heading home. My time aboard may be over for now, but Hull #1 still has some miles ahead of her as she continues toward Cannes, where I’ll reunite with her in just a few weeks for her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
