Day 4 Aboard FPY 70S Hull #1

Day 4 aboard the FPY 70S couldn’t have been more different from Day 3. Zero wind, calm seas, and a full day of motor-sailing. During my night watch, we had some fog roll in and quite a bit of traffic as we got closer to the coast. It gave me a chance to really appreciate the interior helm station and the layout around it. The coffee bar sits right beside the helm, which gave me a great spot to stand, keep the binoculars handy and get a better look ahead before settling back in at the helm. It’s a small detail, but one I really appreciated during a busy watch—and another part of this boat I’ve enjoyed getting to experience properly while underway. One more day to go.
