We thought we had fixed the leaks. The Bay of Biscay had other plans. 😅🌊 Day 3 of the Golden Globe Race, and it has definitely not been kind to me. Big waves, a very wet Showgirl, and unfortunately those leaks are becoming VERY noticeable. I really thought we had figured them all out before the start. Apparently not. 😂 This is probably the first reminder that no matter how much you prepare a boat, the ocean is always going to find something you missed. For now, I’m dealing with what’s in front of me, keeping Showgirl moving and hoping the weather gives us a little break soon. Only day 3. Around the world is still a very long way to go.
