CHANGING OUR ENGINES: the hardest part | YANMAR to NANNI [Ep126 RED SEAS]

This is the final stage of our double engine refit as we replace our old Yanmar 4JH4E engines with brand new Nanni N4.50s. We have built our own fibreglass engine beds, aligned both engines and now we just need to connect up all the fuel and water hoses and install new consoles up at the helm. We are so close to the end of this project and we can't wait to turn the engines on and see if they work! One of the Yanmar engines on our Leopard 47 catamaran completely died on our Pacific crossing last year so we've been limping along for 11 months with only one. Now we're in Tahiti to remove both engines and replace them with brand new Nanni N4.50s.
