Watch us mount our newly certified Viking life raft using the pulley method. (Without dropping it in the ocean). We recently had it repacked and certified (every 3 years) by AirSeaSafety in Charleston SC. They are top notch, but of course, instead of letting the professionals mount it, we chose DIY.
